Summaries: Finance & Property Committee Meetings May 6 – 7, 2020

OF NOTE: FINANCE Approval of Resolution establishing budget policy for FY 2021, approval of Schedule A- Calendar for FY 2021/5-yr Capital Improvement Budget/Recommend 3-yr budget; and Ordinance to establish salary of the Circuit Clerk, Auditor and Coroner with scheduled salary increases for 2021 and 2022 but freezing salaries for 2023 and 2024. PROPERTY Mr Steffa (Parks & Rec) will present projected losses for COMLARA revenues for 2020 (anticipated $72,000).

WEDNESDAY- 5/6

4:30 pm FINANCE Action: Rebecca McNeil (Treasurer) request acceptance of County Treasurer’s Monthly Financial Report. Camille Rodriguez (Administrator) will request approval of critical personnel hiring request (Driver/Laborer at Hwy Dept, IT Network Support Specialist, Nursing Home Office Support Specialist), position reclassification (Health Dept), Amendment to McLean County code to update Overtime Payments rule, Resolution establishing budget policy for FY 2021, approval of Schedule A- Calendar for FY 2021/5-yr Capital Improvement Budget/Recommend 3-yr budget; and Ordinance to establish salary of the Circuit Clerk, Auditor and Coroner with scheduled salary increases for 2021 and 2022 but freezing salaries for 2023 and 2024 to assess financial stability of the county. Animal Control hired 1 Animal Control Warden. Information: Marshell Thomson (Animal Control), Treasurer, and Kathy Michael (County Clerk) will present monthly and general reports. Administrator will present EDC Update, Downstate Business Stabilization Program, Report on Recent Employment Activities and General Report.

THURSDAY- 5/7

4:45 pm PROPERTY Information: Monthly Reports from Tim Daugherty (Facilities Management) and Mike Steffa (Parks & Rec Dept); Mr Steffa also has projected losses for COMLARA revenues for 2020 (anticipated $72,000) and Report on Recent employment from Camille Rodriguez (Administrator) Facilities Management hired 1 Custodian and 1 Building Maintenance Worker.
