Summary: Full County Board Meeting- June 16, 2020

County Board meeting will be held this Tuesday with Stand-Up Committees beginning at 5:10 pm in the Government Center, 4th Floor. Following Roll Call, Approval of Minutes, there will be time for Appearance by Members of the Public.

OF NOTE:

STAND-UP MEETING: PROPERTY– Authorize approval of Contract with Scharnett Associates Architects for Old Courthouse roof replacement with 30 year minimum warranty and drainage system improvements; JUSTICE– Approve critical hire request (Part-time Office Support Specialist for Circuit Clerk’s Criminal division to process expungements and to seal records; and Resolution continuing the Declaration of Emergency to June 17, 2020.

GENERAL MEETING: ZBA– approve a Boat Sales and Service Facility in Agricultural District in Money Creek Township; PROPERTY– Accept bid and enter into contract for a cooler replacement at the Coroner’s Department; JUSTICE– Approval of Limited Data Use Agreement for Coroner Fall Study with ISU (assessing preventable deaths).

5:10 pm PROPERTY: Approve amendment of Combined Annual Appropriation and Budget for Furniture, Fixtures, & Equipment (Office Supplies:$1,818; Non-major Equipment: $18,348; Computer Hardware: $133; Bldg/Grounds/Equip Supply: $95; Radio Equipment: $5,255); Authorize approval of Contract with Scharnett Associates Architects for Old Courthouse roof replacement with 30 year minimum warranty and drainage system improvements (Architectural Fees: $28,800); and Approve extended leave of absence for employee (details to be distributed to committee members to protect employee privacy).

Immediately Following FINANCE: Accept and file single audit report for FY 2019 (report prepared for Federal Awards)

Immediately Following JUSTICE: Approve critical hire request (Part-time Office Support Specialist for Circuit Clerk’s Criminal division to process expungements and to seal records); and payment of Geiger Invoices for CAC/CASA from Illinois CASA Association grant funds ($808.72).

Immediately Following EXECUTIVE: Approval of Critical Hire Request (Full Time Triage Center Visitor’s Aide; Part-time Office Support Specialist for Circuit Clerk’s Criminal division- see above); Re-appointment of Dr Ginzburg to McLean County Board of Health; Approve amendment of Combined Annual Appropriation and Budget for FF&E ($25,649); and Resolution Continuing the Declaration of an Emergency.

->County Hwy Dept: Requests approvals of May 26 Project letting for microsurfacing on Ropp Road ($176k); for Bridge Construction Petition for Joint Culvert Replacement #1 in West Road District (County cost of $5.5k); and Motor Fuel Tax Resolution: Ropp Road ($25k) and Olympia School ($25k) Road.

->Building & Zoning: Zoning Case SU-20-03 to approve a Boat Sales and Service Facility in Agricultural District in Money Creek Township; Amend Special Use permit SU-20-05 to add an outdoor recreation tennis court in M-1 Restricted Manufacturing District in Towanda Township.

->Transfer Ordinances approving transfer of $7000 from Software to Hardware fund
