Summary: Executive Committee Meeting Oct 13, 2020

Executive Committee meeting will be held in the Government Center Room 400 and 404 this Tuesday at 4:30 pm and it can be watched online https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCM0lU0VsDktsIwreZQMCnXQ. Following Roll Call, Approval of Minutes, there will be time for Appearance (emailed statements) by Members of the Public.

OF NOTE: EXECUTIVE Present candidates who have applied for the District 8 Vacancy: Lea Cline and Paul Segobiano; HEALTH use of COVID funds to hire workers and establish a COVID-19 Hotline due to increasing calls with spike in cases and in anticipation of mass vaccination effort, ADMINISTRATION  Seven Critical Hire positions open- https://il-mcleancounty.civicplushrms.com/careers/Jobs.aspx;

EXECUTIVE Presented for Action: Appoint John Emmert to Bloomington Township Public Water District, Greg Scott and Travis Wilson to Emergency Telephone System Board, Andrew Held to Board of Health; Re-appoint Larry Rapp to Park Lawn Cemetery; and present candidates who have applied for the District 8 Vacancy: Lea Cline and Paul Segobiano; Information IT General Report.

HEALTH Presented for Action: Budget adjustments for using COVID funds to establish a COVID-19 Hotline due to increasing calls with spike in cases and in anticipation of mass vaccination effort and for Overtime Pay, Electrical & Sprinkler Systems, and Kitchen Carts. TRANSPORTATION Presented for Action: None. To be Presented to the Board: Approvals of Bridge Construction Petition for Joint Culvert Replacement #1, Cheney’s Grove Road.  Information: General Report.

JUSTICE Presented for Action: Approval of Interlocal Agreement with CoB, ToN and MC on the Byrne Justice Grant, Grant agreement between CAC of IL and McLean County, Agreement between IL CASA and CASA McLean County. To be Presented to the Board: Agreement with Center for Youth and Family Services for Comprehensive Assessment Team, Agreement between McLean County CASA and Kathryn Gillespie (as contract Educational Liaison for CASA volunteers and staff), and Contract with Craig Queen as a Special Public Defender. Information: General Report.

FINANCE Presented for Action: Approve CARES Act Grant Agreement, Postage Grant Agreement, HAVA Election Security Grant Agreement, Amendment of McLean County Code Ch 116 for leave time during COVID, and Resolution for Health/Life Insurance coverage rate; To be Presented to the Board: Resolutions to allow Deeds of Conveyance for multiple real estate parcels, Resolution to eliminate County’s interest and return multiple parcels to active tax rolls, COVID Response Grant Agreement, Agreement with Cott Systems (record digitization services), and Budget adjustments for Special Public Defender and Communicable Disease Coordinator.
