Summary: Full County Board Meeting- Oct 20, 2020

County Board meeting will be held this Tuesday with Stand-Up Committees beginning at 4:45 pm in the Government Center, 4th Floor, Room 400 & 404. Following Roll Call, Approval of Minutes, there will be time for Appearance by Members of the Public.

OF NOTE: STAND UP: Amendment to the Targeted Development Loan Program so that loans are forgivable for expenses in PPE supplies, Technology for online sales, and real estate improvements for drive-up/walk-up windows

GENERAL MEETING: Health: Items for Action: Budget adjustments for using COVID funds to establish a COVID-19 Hotline due to increasing calls with spike in cases and in anticipation of mass vaccination effort

Full County Board Meeting will follow directly at 5:30 pm. After Call to Order, Invocation, Pledge of Allegiance, Roll Call, Public Comment, then there will be the Consent Agenda and discussion/vote on Action Items.

->Approval of Sept Minutes

->County Hwy Dept: Approvals of Bridge Construction Petition for Joint Culvert on Cheney’s Grove Road District ($9,300).

->Building & Zoning: Approval of Yates Township in case SU-20-11 to build a Single-Family Residence in Chenoa, and of request from Caleb and Jordan Miller in Case SU-20-12 for Single-Family Residence in an Agricultural District in Hudson Township.

->Transfer Ordinances Software License.

OTHER RESOLUTIONS, CONTRACTS, LEASES, AGREEMENTS, MOTIONS

->Executive: Updated County holiday schedule for non-members of a recognized collective bargaining unit, and Request Approval of Resolution continuing the Declaration of a Disaster (extended to Nov 18, 2020).

->Finance: Approval of resolutions to allow Deeds of Conveyance for multiple real estate parcels, Resolution to eliminate County’s interest and return multiple parcels to active tax rolls, COVID Response Grant Agreement, Agreement with Cott Systems (record digitization services), and Budget adjustments for Special Public Defender and Communicable Disease Coordinator.

->Justice: Approval of agreement with Center for Youth and Family Services for Comprehensive Assessment Team, Agreement between McLean County CASA and Kathryn Gillespie (as contract Educational Liaison for CASA volunteers and staff), and Contract with Craig Queen as a Special Public Defender.

->Chairman: Will Appoint John Emmert to Bloomington Township Public Water District, Greg Scott & Travis Wilson to Emergency Telephone System Board, and Andrew Held to Board of Health; and Re–Appoint Larry Rapp to Park Lawn Cemetery District.

->Congratulations & Commendations: none.
